These Regulations apply to every client of OGOFX and to every non-trading operation. In them, "OGOFX", "we" and "us" mean OGOFX, and "you" means the client. OGOFX operates under local licence no. 8256953 and is licensed on the OGO platform.
Risk warning. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
1. Scope
1.1 These Regulations for Non-Trading Operations set out how money moves into, within and out of an OGOFX account: deposits, transfers between your wallet and your trading accounts, and withdrawals. They also cover verification, fees, reviews and refusals, and what happens when a transfer is sent to the wrong network, in the wrong token or to the wrong address.
1.2 When you register in the client portal, you accept the Client Agreement, the Terms of Business and the Regulations for Non-Trading Operations, and you confirm that you have read the Risk Disclosure, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. These Regulations are read together with the Client Agreement. Trading operations are covered by the Terms of Business, and the risks of funding with USDT by the Risk Disclosure.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Client portal | Your personal area at portal.ogofx.com, where you manage your profile, verification, security, wallet, trading accounts, deposits and withdrawals. |
| Trading account | A Standard, Raw or Pro account in which you trade CFDs. The number of accounts of each type you can hold is limited; on Standard the limit is 3. |
| Wallet | The balance in your client portal that is not in a trading account. You can move money between your wallet and your trading accounts, and request a withdrawal from it. |
| Free margin | The equity of a trading account less the margin used by its open positions. Only free margin can leave a trading account. |
| USDT | Tether USD, a stablecoin issued by a third party. |
| BEP20 | The token standard of BNB Smart Chain, the only network OGOFX uses for deposits and withdrawals. |
| Deposit address | The BEP20 address shown in the client portal for one of your trading accounts. Each trading account has its own. |
| Non-trading operation | Any deposit, internal transfer or withdrawal. |
| Withdrawal fee | The fee of 1 USDT that applies to each withdrawal. |
3. General principles
3.1 Trading accounts are held in US dollars. USDT is credited one to one: 1 USDT received is credited as 1 US dollar, and 1 US dollar withdrawn is paid as 1 USDT, with the withdrawal fee in section 8.2 applied.
3.2 The only method for deposits and withdrawals is USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). No other method, token or network is accepted.
3.3 You may fund your account only with money that belongs to you and is lawfully obtained. Withdrawals are paid to your own BEP20 address.
3.4 Every non-trading operation is recorded in the client portal, where you can see its amount, status and, for on-chain transfers, its transaction hash.
3.5 OGOFX does not serve residents of the United States and does not accept deposits from them.
4. Verification before money moves
4.1 You must complete verification before you can make a deposit or a withdrawal. Only verified clients can deposit or withdraw.
4.2 To verify, you upload in the client portal:
- a photo identity document: a passport, a national identity card or a driving licence; and
- a proof of address.
4.3 Files can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF, up to 10 MB each. Documents must be clear, complete and valid, and in the same name as your OGOFX profile. The name and country of residence in your profile must match your documents.
4.4 Every submission is reviewed by a person. OGOFX may ask for a clearer copy, another document, or further information about you or the source of your funds, and may decline verification where documents are incomplete, inconsistent or cannot be confirmed. Questions about verification can be sent to verification@ogofx.com.
4.5 You must keep your details up to date. If your name, address or identity document changes, update your profile and upload new documents. OGOFX may ask you to verify again at any time, and may pause non-trading operations until you do.
5. Deposits
5.1 To deposit, open the trading account in the client portal and copy its deposit address. Send USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) to that address from a wallet or exchange you control.
5.2 A deposit is credited to the trading account whose address received it after the network confirms the transfer. OGOFX does not control the time the network takes. A deposit above $50 is credited after a check by the OGOFX team, and stays uncredited until that check is done. A deposit smaller than 1 USDT waits on the address and is added to the next deposit to it.
5.3 The first deposit to a trading account must be at least the minimum for its account type:
| Account | Minimum first deposit |
|---|---|
| Standard | $5 |
| Raw | $5,000 |
| Pro | $20,000 |
The account minimum applies to the first deposit only; later deposits are subject to section 5.2.
5.4 OGOFX does not charge a fee on deposits. The network fee for sending the transfer is paid by the sender, in BNB, to the network, and is not set by OGOFX.
5.5 A deposit address belongs to one trading account. Do not use it for another account, do not give it to anyone else, and check it in the client portal before every deposit. Ignore any deposit address sent to you by email, message or phone.
5.6 Do not send a deposit to the address of a trading account that has been closed. If you are unsure whether an address is still in use, check it in the client portal first.
5.7 OGOFX may hold a deposit that it cannot link to you or that appears to come from a third party, and review it under section 10.
6. Wrong network, wrong token or wrong address
6.1 Only USDT sent on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) to the correct deposit address is credited.
6.2 The following may not be credited and may be lost permanently:
- USDT sent on any other network, for example Ethereum (ERC20) or Tron (TRC20);
- any token other than USDT sent to a deposit address, including BNB and other BEP20 tokens;
- a transfer to an address other than the deposit address shown in your client portal, including a mistyped address or an address taken from an old message.
6.3 OGOFX does not guarantee that such a transfer can be recovered. If it happens, write to support@ogofx.com with the transaction hash, the network, the token, the amount and the address you sent it to.
6.4 A withdrawal sent to the address you gave is final. OGOFX cannot reverse it and is not responsible for a withdrawal paid to a wrong address that you supplied, including an address on a network other than BNB Smart Chain.
7. Transfers between your wallet and trading accounts
7.1 You can move money from your wallet into a trading account and from a trading account back to your wallet in the client portal. Internal transfers are in US dollars and do not use the blockchain.
7.2 Because only verified clients can deposit, money reaches your wallet or a trading account only after verification under section 4.
7.3 You can move out of a trading account only its free margin. Money used as margin for open positions stays in the trading account until those positions close. A transfer that would leave the account without enough margin for its open positions is refused.
7.4 Moving money between your own trading accounts is done through your wallet: from the first account to the wallet, then from the wallet to the second account.
7.5 Internal transfers to another client are not possible.
8. Withdrawals
8.1 You request a withdrawal in the client portal. You choose the amount and give your own BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) address. A BEP20 address starts with 0x followed by 40 characters. Check it carefully: see section 6.4.
8.2 The smallest withdrawal is 10 USDT. The withdrawal fee of 1 USDT applies to each withdrawal.
8.3 A withdrawal comes from your wallet or from the free margin of a trading account. Money used as margin for open positions cannot be withdrawn until those positions close.
8.4 Every withdrawal is reviewed and sent by the OGOFX team to your own BEP20 address. Its status is shown in the client portal, and it is marked paid with its transaction hash once sent. Questions about a withdrawal can be sent to withdrawals@ogofx.com.
8.5 Before paying a withdrawal, OGOFX may contact you to confirm that you made the request, and may ask for further information under section 10.
8.6 Up to 3 withdrawal requests can wait at once; you can make a further request once one of them has been sent or declined. There is no daily limit on withdrawals.
8.7 If a withdrawal is declined, the amount is not sent and remains yours in the client portal, and you are told the reason unless section 10.3 applies.
9. Fees for non-trading operations
| Operation | OGOFX fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit (USDT, BEP20) | None | The network fee for sending is paid by the sender, in BNB, to the network |
| Withdrawal (USDT, BEP20) | The withdrawal fee, 1 USDT | Smallest withdrawal 10 USDT; no daily limit |
9.1 Your own wallet or exchange may charge its own fees for sending or receiving USDT. These are outside OGOFX's control. Trading costs (spreads, commission and swaps) are set out on the fees page.
10. Reviews, holds and refusals
10.1 OGOFX may review, hold or decline a non-trading operation, or reverse an internal credit or transfer that has not left OGOFX, where:
- verification is incomplete, out of date or cannot be confirmed;
- the name, country or other details on the operation do not match your profile;
- the operation appears to involve a third party, or funds that are not yours;
- there are signs of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches or an unauthorised sign-in to your account;
- the funds come from or go to an address linked to illegal activity or to a sanctioned person;
- you appear to be resident in a country OGOFX does not serve, including the United States;
- the trading account or the client portal is suspended or closed, or is under review for a breach of the Client Agreement or the Terms of Business;
- OGOFX is required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
10.2 During a review OGOFX may ask for documents or information, such as proof of the source of your funds or proof that you control a wallet address. A review may take longer than usual, and an operation stays on hold until it is complete.
10.3 OGOFX may be prevented by law from telling you the reason for a hold or refusal.
10.4 OGOFX is not responsible for losses caused by a hold or refusal made in good faith under this section, including market movements while money is held.
11. Errors and corrections
11.1 If money is credited to your wallet or trading account by mistake, or credited twice, OGOFX will correct the balance and tell you. You must not use money credited in error, and you must return it if it has been withdrawn.
11.2 If you believe an operation is missing or wrong, write to support@ogofx.com with the date, the amount and, for on-chain transfers, the transaction hash.
12. Security of operations
12.1 Anyone who can sign in to your client portal can move money between your wallet and trading accounts and request withdrawals. Keep your password private and turn on two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app.
12.2 OGOFX will never ask you to send money to an address given by email, message or phone, and will never ask for your password, your two-factor codes or your recovery codes.
12.3 If you think someone else has signed in to your account, change your password and write to support@ogofx.com at once. OGOFX may hold withdrawals from your account while it checks.
13. Closing an account
13.1 You can ask to close your client portal by writing to support@ogofx.com. Before closing, close your open positions and withdraw any free balance under section 8.
13.2 If OGOFX closes your account under the Client Agreement, it will pay out any balance you are owed, after any correction under section 11 and subject to section 10, to a BEP20 address you control.
14. Records, complaints and changes
14.1 OGOFX keeps records of every non-trading operation and of the documents you provide, as described in the Privacy Policy.
14.2 Questions about a non-trading operation can be sent to support@ogofx.com, to withdrawals@ogofx.com for withdrawals, or to verification@ogofx.com for verification. Support is available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
14.3 To make a complaint, email support@ogofx.com with the word “Complaint” in the subject line, and give your registered email address, the account number concerned, what happened and the outcome you want. OGOFX answers in writing by email. This is the one complaints procedure for every OGOFX document, as set out in the Client Agreement.
14.4 OGOFX may change these Regulations, including the fees and minimums in them. The new version is published on this page with its new effective date at the top. Changes are notified in the same way as changes to the Client Agreement and the Terms of Business. Fees and minimums shown in the client portal at the time of an operation apply to that operation.
