Fees and charges

What you pay to trade with OGOFX: the spread, a commission on Raw and Pro, swap on positions held overnight, and the withdrawal fee when you take money out. OGOFX charges nothing on deposits.

What you can be charged

Four charges can apply: the spread, a commission on Raw and Pro, swap overnight and the withdrawal fee. Deposits are free from OGOFX; your wallet pays the BNB Smart Chain network fee when it sends.

  • Spread

The gap between the buy and the sell price, on every trade and every account. Standard has no commission; its markup is in the spread. Raw and Pro trade the liquidity provider's raw spread.

  • Commission

Raw: $7 a lot. Pro: $5 a lot. Charged once, when the position opens. Standard: none.

  • Swap

Overnight financing on a position still open at the broker's daily rollover. It can be charged or paid, and the rates are the same on every account.

  • Withdrawal fee

1 USDT on each withdrawal, sent in USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).

The spread

Every instrument has two prices. You buy at the higher one, the ask, and sell at the lower one, the bid. The difference between them is the spread. A position opens at a small loss equal to the spread, because a new buy would close at the bid and a new sell at the ask.

How the spread differs by account

  • Standard. No commission; its markup is in the spread ($1 a lot on currency pairs, 50% of the spread on metals, indices and energy). Standard spreads are therefore wider than Raw and Pro spreads on the same instrument. EURUSD spreads start from 0.1 pips.
  • Raw and Pro. The liquidity provider's raw spread plus commission per lot, charged once when the position opens. EURUSD spreads start from 0.0 pips on Raw and 0.0 pips on Pro.

A “from” figure is the lowest spread the account can show, not the spread you should expect on every trade.

Spreads move

Spreads are variable. They follow the market and can be much wider than the lowest figure, most of all around economic news, at the daily rollover and when a market opens. The spread that applies to your order is the one at the moment it is filled.

What the spread amounts to on a trade

  • Currency pairs: spread in pips × the value of one pip for one lot × the number of lots.
  • Metals, indices and energy: the spread as a difference in price × the contract size × the number of lots, in the instrument's profit currency.

Contract sizes and quote currencies are listed in the contract specifications.

Set the size and the exits on the order ticket

The order ticket in the OGOFX web terminal is where you choose the order type and the number of lots, and add a stop loss and a take profit before you send the order.

The ticket does not fix your cost in advance: the spread moves with the market, and swap is charged later, only if the position is still open at the daily rollover. To compare Standard pricing with Raw or Pro pricing on the instrument you trade, use the table of spreads, commissions and swaps for every instrument further down this page.

Commission on Raw and Pro

Raw and Pro accounts pay a fixed commission in US dollars for each lot traded. It is charged once, when the position opens, and covers the round turn: there is no second charge when you close. A smaller trade pays its share, so 0.10 lots pays a tenth of the per-lot amount.

AccountSpreadCommission per lotWhen it is charged
StandardIncludes OGOFX's markup ($1 a lot on currency pairs, 50% of the spread on metals, indices and energy); EURUSD from 0.1 pipsNone—
RawThe liquidity provider's raw spread; EURUSD from 0.0 pips$7Once, when the position opens
ProThe liquidity provider's raw spread; EURUSD from 0.0 pips$5Once, when the position opens

Which account costs less depends on what and how you trade. The table further down shows the spread on each account and the commission for every instrument, so you can compare them on the markets you use. The accounts also differ in minimum first deposit and maximum leverage: see our accounts.

Swap: holding a position overnight

A position that is still open at the broker's daily rollover, at midnight broker server time (UTC+3 at the time of publishing; it moves by an hour with daylight saving), is charged or paid swap. Swap is the cost of financing the position from one day to the next. A position opened and closed between two rollovers pays none.

  • Long and short differ. Each instrument has one swap rate for buy positions and another for sell positions. Either can be negative, a charge, or positive, a credit.
  • Three nights on Wednesday. On Wednesday night a position is charged or paid swap for three nights, to cover the weekend. Today this is the same on every instrument; the day is also listed in the contract specifications.
  • On the full position. Swap is worked out on the size of the position, not on the margin you put up, so leverage does not reduce it.
  • The same on every account. Standard, Raw and Pro use the same swap rates: the liquidity provider's rate with a 50% markup. A swap that is charged is made larger by that share, and a swap that is paid is made smaller.

Swap rates change with interest rates and the market. The table below shows the current rates for every instrument in US dollars per lot per night.

Spreads live from the platform: currency pairs in pips, other markets as the difference in price as quoted. Raw and Pro trade the liquidity provider's spread. Standard's spread includes its markup: $1 a lot on currency pairs and 50% of the spread on metals, indices and energy, and on XAUUSD a further 13 points. Commission is charged once per lot when a position opens. Swap in US dollars for one lot for one night, at today's rates from the platform (23 October 2026); minus means you pay, plus means you are paid.

Adding up the cost of a trade

Three charges per trade, and one currency step. Only the ones that apply to your trade count.

  1. Step 1: The spread

Met on entry on every account. On Standard it includes OGOFX's markup; on Raw and Pro it is the liquidity provider's raw spread. It moves with the market.

  2. Step 2: The commission

Raw and Pro only: $7 or $5 a lot, charged once when the position opens. Nothing more on closing.

  3. Step 3: The swap

Only if the position is open at the daily rollover: the instrument's long or short rate for each night held, and three nights on Wednesday.

  4. Step 4: Converted into dollars

Accounts are in US dollars. Profit, loss and swap on an instrument quoted in another currency, such as USDJPY or GER40, are converted into dollars.
